- Edit your Global.asax.cs to Clear all formatters and add Json formatter back.
GlobalConfiguration.Configuration.Formatters.Clear();
GlobalConfiguration.Configuration.Formatters.Add(new JsonMediaTypeFormatter());
- After adding above two lines in your code, your code will be look like below and it will always return JSON :-
